After doing a bunch of errands with my daughter on Monday. We got home and discovered a turtle in our backyard. Apparently, my husband had found him wondering in the middle of the street. He brought it home, offered it some food and water. As you can see he wasn’t happy in this crate.
After dinner we took him to to The Lost Pond, a conservation area near our home.
I’m sure he will be happy there!
This to me truly illustrates the word ESCAPE!
Poor little turtle, who knows from where he came! Lovely photos 🙂
He is in a good place now!
Than I’m happy Gail, have a splendid Saturday ! 🙂
That is always the goal..HAPPY!
Hope the weather holds out for the weekend.
Yes I hope because yesterday it was bad weather, today it’s around 25 degrees here 🙂
celsius right?
Yesterday it was in the 90’s (fahrenheit)
Why, that ungrateful turtle! Leaving that yummy-looking zucchini! 😉 Yes, Mr. Turtle’s heroic effort to escape illustrates the concept perfectly.
he really needed a new home, that crate wasn’t a good place for him.
Seeing a turtle parked in the middle of the road induces such panic!! Hopefully Mr. Turtle is over his wanderlust and will be content in his new home.
I’m sure he will 🙂
