no secret…
I have a full Canon 5d mark iii camera and used a 100mm 2.8 macro lens. Shot it as a raw image and processed it in photoshop.
Good LUCK, and thanks for taking the time to look and comment.
Much Appreciated!
Thanks for the tip, it’s very much appreciated! ๐
my pleasure!
It even snowed here in AZ on Sun. night! Not much but still snow…
Lovely capture of the snow crystals. They are so beautiful and the fact that no 2 are alike make them even more special.
that is so true!
I was at a trade show in Las Vegas in November 1985ish… we flew over to the grand canyon, when we got there it was freezing cold and snowing. The next morning we rode down on mules, no snow and hot!
Amazing what a few miles and cold air can do!
I just love snow, it truly is magical!
Snow for you…. tornadoes for us. Most of the terribleness was west of Atlanta, which is often the way for some reason. I hope your daughter (and you) wasn’t too worried!
thanks Tricia- I stopped by your blog, and was unable to find a comment area.
I am now a follower and look forward to hearing about your travels!
All the best!
Gail
How is it possible to get such a close up on snow, do you mind revealing your secret? ๐

I really like your presentation of single crystals, lots of negative space, and superb use of diffused light. NICE. ๐

These were all taken in natural light…
