I love watching football, IF the Patriots are playing. Last Sunday we had the opportunity not only to go to the game, but, also to be on the field while the teams were warming up. I made sure I had my camera, 2 charged batteries, extra memory cards, and I also brought my 100-400m lens. Unfortunately I dropped it at the security table and it BROKE :(.
We arrived at Gillette Stadium 2 hours early. We wanted to get to the tables close to the windows in the Putnam Club. We figured we could use it as a basecamp to warm up. It snowed on Sunday, was really cold, and all the seats were damp and cold!
Just love the way the sun is hitting this staircase
The Patriots were played the Broncos. It was an exciting game to watch, lots of action from both teams. We even got to see a trick play that didn’t go very well. Third down and long yardage, the Patriots lined up to punt. Then the whole Special teams ran off the field with the Bronco’s falling in suit. Unfortunately the Offense Line didn’t get back in time to execute the play. It really was a sight to see!
Here are some highlights from the day. The Patriots won 43-21. We had a great time.
At the gym this morning, my trainer told me about an experiment she did with HOT water. She put it in a cup and threw the water in the air, it was so cold out it turned into a vapor.
I asked her if we could do it again, but add something red to it. Here is what happened.
The red “stuff” fell to the ground and the water evaporated creating a vapor!

I’m sick I have either a sinus infection or head cold or the flu. My throat hurt, my nose was stuffed and a had a fever. I was so stuffed up I knew I wouldn’t be able to sleep. I’m not a mouth breather. I found a bunch of “BreathRights” You know, you see them on all the football players noses. They wear designer ones, all black or with the teams logo. It looks like a piece of tape. It is like a band aid with a couple of springs inside to keep your nasal passage open. I put one on before I went to bed and was able to fall asleep. They really work. Not sure if they work for football players, but who am I to judge!
The next time you have a stuffed nose, don’t reach for, “the night time sniffling, sneezing, coughing, aching, stuffy, head, fever so you can rest medicine,” reach for a Breathright.
Great game tonight..happy the Saint’s won.
