  1. It reminds me of the East Wing of the National Gallery in DC, from the lower level, but I know that it’s not. Very cool? Wherever it is…

      1. The Shard is the newest tall building in Southern Europe from the top you can see 390deg panorama of London. So I guess it’s not that ๐Ÿ˜€

      2. I cam se why you may have thought i was at The Tower London Shard. It is on the Today show. Now! It really is an amazing building. I see why it’s called the shard.
Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

      3. Here in UK we have a new building just opened called The Shard It is the tallest building in Southern Europe and from the top you can see a 350 deg panorama of London.

However I think you are based in Boston??? A city I visited several years ago. we went on a Whale Watching trip in a thunderstorm!!! But got some quite reasonable (under the circumstances) Photos of the Whales. We also had a meal at ‘The Legal Fish Resturant’ Which was recommended to us by an American couple while we were dining at The Tower Resturant on the Canadian side of Niagra!! I seem to have given you a potted history ๐Ÿ˜‰

So I take it it’s not the Shard

      4. Susan-
Thanks for updating me on UK’s current architectural prize ๐Ÿ™‚
I love London, we have been there a few times. Now there will be something other than the EYE to give you a great view!
Yes I am in Boston. I think at eat at Legal Seafood (near me) at least once a month. Very good and fresh food.
You’re correct that it isn’t the Shard. It is was taken under the staircase at the Apple Store in New York City.
Thanks for keeping me up to date.
        All the Best!
        Gail
